About the Event
The Resilience Resource Center is preparing to launch Youth Community Evenings, an expanded weekday program offering LGBTQIA+ youth a safe, affirming place to connect after school. The program will operate Monday through Friday from 3:00–8:00 p.m., with the official start date to be announced.
We invite youth, families, educators, community members, and partner organizations to join this open planning meeting. Attendees will learn more about the program and have an opportunity to contribute ideas and suggestions about activities, supports, outreach, and ways to make the space welcoming and helpful for young people.
The program will include homework and technology support, creative and wellness activities, structured groups, career and life-skills opportunities, peer connection, trusted adult support, and snacks and light meals.
We are also looking for volunteers who may be interested in:
Helping spread the word to schools, families, and community organizations
Supporting outreach and program promotion
