🎨 Art for Resilience – Event Series

Every other Sunday this fall, the Resilience Resource Center invites LGBTQIA+ youth to explore creativity, connection, and self-expression through our Art for Resilience workshop series—completely free thanks to the generous support of the Tigris Foundation. 💛 We’re so grateful for this partnership, which helps us bring affirming, community-centered art experiences to life.

Event Summary:

🎨 In this creative and inspiring session, youth will make mixed media art pieces inspired by music they love. Whether it’s a favorite lyric, a beat that lifts your spirit, or a melody that moves you—participants will learn to translate sound into visual storytelling using collage, paint, sculpture, and more. Led by artist and educator Amber Ross, this workshop invites youth to tap into the theme of “Optimism and Purpose” by exploring how music can uplift, heal, and guide us through tough moments.
